Dr. Fernandes is a Specialist in Family Medicine and Office Surgery with additional certifications in Rheumatology with over 20 years in Clinical Practice. He is a former Molecular Virologist and a Published Academic Researcher. Dr. Fernandes is registered as Physician in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in the Province of Alberta in Canada, as well as with the Arizona Medical Board in the USA.

Dr. Fernandes has been married for over 25 years and has two daughters in University and two dogs that work as Emotional Support dogs. He has taught Karate for over 20 years, and he is an avid skier, golfer and exercise nut who loves cars and cooking. Dr. Fernandes is actively involved as an organizer and supporter of various prominent charitable and non-profit organizations in the USA and Canada.
